Got to agree with some of the earlier posters this isn’t a choice between Smith and Lewis. Smiths in as the controlling half it’s a choice between Williams and Lewis. I think Wanes got it about right in that they are the first choice halves but Lewis is that good a player he has to be found a spot somewhere. Even if that is playing him out of position.

It’s not the channel tunnel and it’s not a FTSE 100 company. We can’t throw money at it like the tunnel and we can’t cut out the deadwood like you would with a commercial company. You are dealing with 35/36 often poorly run clubs who you have no direct influence over. Plus the RFL and SL themselves which should be more straight forward.

The channel tunnel cost £9.5 billion which is the equivalent of £23 billion today it’s amazing what can be achieved when you throw enough money at it. Another reason that it’s completely pointless to use in a discussion about IMG.
