  1. Its never a problem for six nations weekend. People will be out and about, lots of pubs and shopping arcades for the soft northerners.
  2. Yeah NHL is ice hockey and although a lot of games aren't full i assume getting a season ticket relates to getting a seat at the play offs which are packed. Mind you florida is definitely not in ice hockey heartlands so i dont think they are in a sellers market really, even in post-season games.
  3. i have to agree that phil larder has been a disappointment really. It reads like a two page match report at times. Less of telling us what has happened but why is needed.
  4. In what sense are the rfl the dominant force in the rlef? I'm not saying that you are wrong just curious as to how that works. Danny kandjazan said the rlef is funded entirely by the rlif for example.
  5. I'm hoping its a dead heat for eighth - then we can have a play off with you guys! What a cracker that will be! We would win of course because - we are unstoppable! Crusaders for the Grand Final!!
  6. As opposed to a noisy nod?
  7. Frankly we are unstoppable. Everyone knows it. Hull FC will wilt. Cru by 20+
  8. wasnt the word from the rfl in the latest LE that this criteria was abolished? Expansion clubs may benefit from being in new territory but heartland clubs wouldnt be penalised for being near other heartland clubs. in fact it was seen as a positive in some ways.
  9. How far into the season did the rfl announce this 2500 min?
  10. He did mention being knackered after travellng up from neath as an excuse for mispronouncing calibre on the beeb today!
  11. Fair enough. Hence the importance of the rfl making decisions in the strategic interests of the sport as a whole.
  12. Did the cru have a small crowd? Blimey not seen it mentioned every bloody everywhere or anything.
  13. I agree with you cofi. I like seeing the half backs take on a tired set of forwards on the scoot. They are still risking it and seem to twist and turn trying to gain every advantage. Leeds taking on the saints around the ruck opened up the game today, giving it a more broken field feel. Personally i would like to see the interchanges reduced to encourage this a bit more, making coaching decisions in this area more tactical.
  14. Watching the game today (split shifts sometimes useful!) something that struck me was that although the game was very enjoyable, especially the last half hour, the players were very familiar to each other. Although the idea of the extended world club challenge is problematic i would be happy for a reduced superleague season to make the room for it. It would give a very welcome extra dimension to the club game. I would roughly speaking favour top four versus top four, with the ladder leaders getting an advantage but not automaticaly in a final.
  15. Fair enough. Playing in south wales was a promise kept when the club changed hands. Should we have forfeited on that promise? Either way whats done is done and i agree that next year needs the club to play a decent regular slot, every two weeks in wrexham alone.
  16. Aye but decent punctuation helps make the meaning clear. Thats it purpose, innit?
  17. Crusaders will get a license so that we can introduce punctuation to the debate. Commas are your friend.
  18. And the attendance for wakefield v quins 130 miles from their home ground would be?
  19. clearly not a proper rugby league person
  20. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh splendid. The conspiracy is in an advanced stage. Croooooooosaders.
  21. unlimited makes no sense, as does the union version ive seen where they pass when tackled. concious effort not to be league like imo. touch logically moves towards league rules and no one i played with seems bothered.
  22. the warm welcome from the wrexham fc hardcore has evaporated. Not happy with some of the rumours flying around either: http://www.redpassion.co.uk/forums/crusaders-rugby/
  23. No but his family is very welsh, with a grandfather who played for welsh ru national side. I'm always bumping into people with english accents but you try telling them they're not welsh.
