Behave yourself, knocks are part of the game and every player carries them from week to week Well done on taking deliberate offence, have a cookie. -

Hopefully Hull will have left lots of lumps and injuries to take into next week Good result all round for the Giants tbh -
What are you looking forward to in this weekends round.

If Leeds beat wakey, I'd happily see the Giants lose against Tolouse I suspect though it'll be full strength team ahead of the cup final -
Oh, sorry, will have 20000 empty seats. Is that better?
-
Ahh Well that's like how you know when the Giants are doing well
-
And I think the issue there is manifold, complex and will take a long time and commitment to change
-
The "cut through" a cup win would generate would be epic I'd say Wigan should throw the game, for the benefit of RL generally

True, I still remember all the complaints about summer rugby... The Giants social media team are doing great work currently
-
Exactly I am 100% certain Wembley will be half full but I also am certain there won't be pages of soccer forums counting empty seats.

The VAST majority of fans don't visit sites like this though, so I just find the whole process fundamentally pointless and sad. What it does do though is spill onto media pundits and social media and there it does do damage.

Maurice Lindsay passed away.

Futtocks nailed it. He changed the game fundamentally, and I'd say dragged it forward kicking and screaming. -
That was my memory, thanks. If we get even the 2007 figures I'll take it as a win, and it looks like we will. Fwiw I got mine from the RFL weeks ago Also, Facebuk is an absolute sewer, sports pages doubly so. The Giants fan page is a burning sewer of awfulness.

Anecdotal information I've gathered so far is plenty of soccer fans also at least considering going to both games - a few I know have said they've got tickets for both now Some because they support the towns sporting events, some because it's a shiny new stadium. As Meast said though, if the seat counters spent as much effort going to games as counting seats, it wouldn't be a problem. Also - seat prices ramp up damn quickly if you want to sit along the sides, very quickly makes it unaffordable imo. Giants too decent numbers in 2009 I seem to remember.

Warrington Wolves - laughing stock
Ant replied to Dallas Mead's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
Thing is, Watson first season wasn't awful - not in comparison to previous seasons. It was mediocre, but also entirely expected by anyone not being paid to comment on the game. -

Watson had the same problem with some players being resistant to change. They are now elsewhere and either being average or worse. I'm no fan of Powell, and his "it's the refs fault" ways, but he gets results. -

What was the logic behind Widdop, Williams and Austin all being signed, presumably on a fair wedge given other interest in them? 3 into 2, on big wages? Then GI on top? Seems the money could be better spent.
