  1. We’ve actually only blown one semi final, which was last year. Different team, so I’d say that the past has no bearing on Sundays match.
  2. Good news, Fev did similar for our match in TO. Shame that more people won’t be able to watch.
  3. Not sure that’s true to be honest. Quite often the semi finals are blow outs. Look at the NRL semi’s, both easy wins for the home teams.
  4. I’d agree, it’s going to be hot conditions and TO have got a few players back in the squad. I think a relatively comfortable home win., although the Bulls have improved the last few weeks.
  5. I’m not having that, if Fev happen to get promoted out ratings on TV will be massive. The romance of the story. Definitely worth an extra £3m a year to Sky.
  6. It’s a much stronger squad and I’d expect that we’ll see the best Toulouse on Saturday, especially at home. Personally I can’t see the Bulls winning this one.
  7. Not long now . In the backs Id say, it’s a just a question of if Briscoe is in contention. I’d have Hall in, so it’s MK GG CH JL CH JF CA. The forwards is tricky, so hoping that GS is fit, I think MC MW JL BD ET DS. Leaving an interchange of GS JM CJ and JB. Really hard on those left out such as Lacans and Hau, but think he’ll go for experience.
  8. The best thing is for supporters not to get involved in this kind of stuff. The comment I saw, was ill advised and given the clubs already been fined for similar, it’s stupidity to be making such comments.
  9. Wakey have the advantage of having an academy over Fev, but I don’t see what other huge advantages they have over us.
  10. We can’t be complacent. But I feel that the team/club is in a much better place this year. Last season, things petered out, well before the playoffs.
  11. Can’t take teams for granted, but if we can’t beat London at home, we don’t deserve to be promoted. Week off, think we’ll be ok.
  12. I see that there was some trouble at last nights match.
  13. It’s a tough decision for players, who currently have jobs as well as playing and even more so for the older players. I suspect that there might be a few other players who stay in the Championship if we do get promoted. Not sure I’d give up a job for potentially one year in the SL.
  14. My omission of Connor Jones was an error, clearly he’s one of the first names on our team sheet.
  15. So, this weekend marks the start of the playoffs. For me, and it’s not a surprise would expect a Fev v Toulouse Final, especially if TO get their big guns back on the field. This weekend looks quite hard to call, the Bulls have had a couple of decent wins, but can throw in a stinker, whilst York have finished the season like an express train. Sheffield have the quality to beat anyone on their day, against a London team which has improved, but has faltered a bit the last 2 weeks. I’d tip the Bulls and Eagles to progress to the semi finals and give us another date with Mr Aston.
  16. To be fair, this isn’t a view held by the majority of people on this forum. Anyway, there’s not much else to be gained from talking about this. We can only hope that the club sort this issue out and root out these idiots.
  17. I agree with what you say. Not nice to hear, but it’s true.
  18. There’s no defence for what’s happened. These ignorant idiots have cost the club £2.5K. And its not like it’s the first time it’s happened either. And I’d doubt that it’s youngsters either.
  19. It clearly doesn’t help. If people have to have such views, they need to keep their mouths shut when in public. We shouldn’t look for excuses.
  20. And most likely don’t think they did anything wrong either. It’s £2.5k we could have used towards players signings. Alas I just don’t see anything changing.
