I follow a few NRL related pages on social media and have noticed the incredible & nasty vitriol directed at players when they step out of line both on & off the pitch,the Burgess brothers have had their fair share of it over the years and it does seem to be on the increase.

Again doing ok in the NRL doesn't mean your world class and Bateman apart the pack you listed is hardly star studded

On current form,Your whole 3/4s are way short of International class and your pack has a prop who is on the verge of retirement,a hooker who has never performed at test level,a loose forward who had to retire and a bench containing 2 players who can't regularly get into the Wigan team and another who despite some improved form this year will never be test class and you say I'm being ridiculous. Just because you've played in the NRL at some point doesn't make you a world beater.

He’s 33 next month,can’t see another NRL club taking him on unfortunately,the lad really hasn’t had any luck since he signed for the Roosters.

Burgess was a standout in his first season,the only thing Morley had to adjust to was the refs and I don’t recall Ellis & Graham needing a season of adjustment.

George Williams very good today in a great high intensity game against the Roosters,Bateman with a great individual try early doors,Sutton was very solid,Whitehead had a quiet game though.

My point was it's harsh criticising Thompson at this stage,criticism of theBulldogs utilisation of him seems more justifiable.

Let’s give Thompson time,won’t be easy joining a struggling team in a different comp after an enforced 4 month layoff.

Good move by Robinson,Tuponiua is a promising backrower but will never be a centre as long as he has a hole in his arris !
