Looks like over 10 000 average for all 6 games this weekend. Pretty good

Probably Wigan vs Huddersfield but I’ll be flicking between the games a bit too

Unless they come over on a proper 2/3 year contract it just undermines our competition.

The best way for NRL money to be used is to promote the game of RL in the UK and get more kids playing. More juniors playing and more fans attending as well as watching on TV is what the game needs, not flying NRL players over for a few months at the expense of promoting academy players

I’d actually like to see the NRL come to London and maybe even Paris. We could definitely piggyback on that to increase SL exposure in two of Europe’s biggest cities

If they are serious about ‘cracking’ the US then a joint approach from SL and the NRL could work well. Adding English teams to the event would definitely add thousands to the crowd

Do Lebanon have any serious competition in the MEA championships? Could Nigeria put a strong team out?

Maybe SL should just target 2 or 3 areas over a 5 year period and play all the ‘on the road’ games there throughout the season. Push the game and SL in these areas to create a bit of a following, school and community club development and maybe even some tier 3 academies linked to SL clubs. Areas with potential, population, some development already and a lower league club or Southern Conference club already in the area. For example, London, Newcastle/NE and maybe somewhere closer to home like Manchester, Liverpool or Sheffield could be targeted
