Swinton Lions deserve better than the decisions they’re getting second half.

Oh sorry, I thought there was a tinge of sour grapes. Anyhow, I couldn’t find the set restart stats but I found the penalty count. It was 7 to swinton and 14 to Oldham. Hope that clears that up. Sorry about the gloomy floodlights and the bright screen though. (Same for both sides maybe?)

Please, when you find the statistics, can you post them here? Interested to see the penalty count and set restarts. I think you may be surprised by what you unearth!

So long as Swinton Lions are everyone’s predicted relegation fodder, we will always have a just cause to prove “them” wrong. There can be no better incentive than be written off every year before a balls been kicked . Bring it on …..!

Hull Kingston Rovers = Hull KR Manchester Swinton Lions = Manchester SL Most Lions fans will accept that. As they would have done when the issue was raging a few years ago (in my opinion). But it was poorly handled at the time by the previous board/chairman who stated it was too much like “half rice, half chips”. Anyhow, most of us are still basking in the glory of survival for now. As we do, every year, somehow, against the odds……we cling on. Rattle the bucket….. (those that know, know!)

How about Alan Coleman at Swinton ? Tough gig to keep the Lions in the Championship all things considered. What a performance today!! He leaves for Widnes with a clear conscience and a has put a happy smile on the faces of all Lions fans
