I was at the game last night and I have since watched the game over on TV. I was of the opinion that the first half was a good competitive game and then Wigan just blew them away in the second half scoring some fantastic tries. I was obviously wrong. Having read through most of the garbage written in this thread Wigan won the game due to playing forward passes, getting every decision in their favour and gaining penalties for mouthing off. I feel better now that I am full possession of the facts.

I was looking forward to the event tomorrow but after reading through this I might just jump off a bridge instead. -

They would be better off signing an actual dolphin. -
We shouldn't be angry about it at all. Wigan gave him the chance to get back in the game, gave him a huge amount of support and he messed it up again. If Wigan are, as they claim, serious about creating a new culture at the club, then the likes of Zak are not going to help that. He had his chance, he didn't take it, good luck to him, and the clubs that take him, for the rest of his career.

Whatever you think you are entitled to with regards to an explanation, you really aren’t. Regardless of social media, which is a cesspit, Or any other type of media, you are not owed an explanation by Wigan or any other club. If they decide to keep the reasons to themselves then that’s their choice and you will just have to get over it, regardless of what you think you deserve.

Maybe the club take the view that it is private and nothing to do with the likes of you and I? Maybe it was even part of the agreement with Zak that Wigan do not divulge the full reason for his exit? He's had plenty bad press over the years maybe he just doesn't want any more.

I am fully aware of the level of support given to Zak when he joined Wigan. I know for a fact it was above and beyond a level ever given to any player at the club. However, Zak being Zak, it obviously wasn't enough. If someone is willing to take him on, I'm sure they will be aware of the risk.

I actually think it would be incredible if Wigan's new forwards could be any worse than the ones we had last season. I'm not saying they are going to win every game, but i am willing to reserve judgement on the new signings until they are at least given a chance to fail. With French returning they will have some flair back in the side and if Cust can fire you just never know. I certainly don't see them down in 7th as some posters on here seem to think. -

Nice to see that everyone has written Wigan off this season. I don't think Wigan will win it, but they are a better bet than Leeds for certain.
