Opening match Aus v NZ next Thursday evening in Sydney should generate some interest.

Equals my time to fly using Malaysia Airlines from Sydney to London in the early 80's.

Which May? Terrell,Taylan or Tyrone.

Talagi has been a big disappointment at Penrith with speculation he will not be wanted there next season. Was brought in as a No 6 after Luai departed but has been shifted into the centres where defensively he is a liability and his attack can be described as effort without effective result.

I watch every NRL match and he had a 78% goal kicking success rate this season. Played the majority of this season at centre completing 18 matches there with 3 games at 6 and 1 game at 7.

TV rights in Aus for the entire World Cup Series is Channel 7 with Fox and Channel 9 missing out. Andrew Voss will be the head caller and pundits will include Easts coach Trent Robinson, Luke Keary and James Graham among a host of others.

Again not Warrington's year! Congrats to Wakefield who were superb. Last time I attended a Wakefield match was in 1960 when they smashed Hull to win at Wembley with a record score in that competition up to then. Went on to win there again in 62 and 63 in the glory days of Rocky Turner and company.

Roosters to win. 7 tries to be scored. Total points. 47

Warrington won in 1954 too with the only other time being in 1948. The late 40's and the 50's decade was a great period to have been a follower of Warrington as I was.

After seeing them play Hull back in the late 40's Warrington became my second team. Players in their side included Brian Bevan, Roy Francis Harry Bath and Gerry Helme. Came from Aus. to watch them play Hull in their only Challenge Cup final clash in 2016. So a Warrington win for me.

He finished 5th 1 point behind Haumole Olakau'atu and accumulated 45 votes.

Won primarily because I was of the belief that Penrith would not reach the GF and the Roosters would beat the Dolphins. You deserve compliments for tipping the exact total points score of 92 - my attempt(57) was woeful! You deserved a bonus point!

As a long time Penrith fan I am not expecting them to progress any further. They have been in unconvincing form over the latter portion of the season and were very fortunate to beat the Roosters in their last match. They are the weakest Panthers side to contest a Preliminary Final in the past 7 years. The injury to Cleary will not help. I have posted on here a few times that they would not make the GF. Bold predictions!

I love watching SOO matches where he is currently the chosen one. He holds the record for the most number of SOO matches refereed. He is currently for me the top referee.
