Attendances (Multiple Merged Threads)

That would be excellent Chris, hopefully the bars will make a bit of cash. -
Chesterfield will be kicking themselves letting a 0-2 lead slip.

The fight for the drop has really opened up in Div 2, with Oldham beating a v poor Bristol Rovers, and Vale easing to a win at Carlisle. Oldham who looked doomed a few weeks ago are now two pts behind Carlisle and they have a game in hand. Walsall are also in the fight now after their loss at Scunthorpe, but i still think The Iron are doomed. Forest Green are coasting at the top.

I think there will be 8,800 at Saints on Thursday. I know a few people who would go but because of work commitments and it being a Thursday night they have to give it a miss. the other gates (Cas v Salford 7,400) (HKR v Wigan 7,900) (Leeds v Wire 12,300) (Toulouse v Huddersfield 4,500) (Wakey v Hull 5,300). -
Someone sent me a clip of Leicester fans trying to get into a pub where families were having something to eat. Luckily they didn’t get into the premises, it was shocking footage and those Leicester fans were embarrassing. After what happened at Rotherham, Morecambe, Leyton Orient, with pitch invasions and racist abuse it seems to be getting worse again in football. I hope we don’t see any of this sort of behaviour at RL game’s for the 2022 season.

I attendance figures. -
How bloody ruddy useless are Man United. Lee Bowyer wasn’t very happy with Sheff Utd’s winner tonight.
-
I see Chesterfield have parted ways with Manager James Rowe but they haven’t said why, he was suspended last week. He’s done a decent job there but obviously something quite serious must’ve gone on.
-
I remember around three years ago Hereford were in the NL, but like Darlington they hit a rough patch and are battling to get out of the NL North with both being now middle of the table fodder.
-
That looks a lot of cash but sharing it amongst the 72 i suppose it doesn’t go that far. Id imagine the championship clubs would want more cash than the leagues lower than them.
-
It must be tough for York City being full time and battling to get out of the NL North. All clubs are trying too reach their promised land but not everyone will get there, i wonder how many clubs are close to a financial meltdown ?.
-
Championship. League 1, League 2, how much do they get each from the Sky Deal. How much do the National League receive from BT ?.

As you mentioned the price of tickets i was told by a mate for Saints fan’s to pay at the gate at Hull will be £28. I thought flipping heck that seems a bit steep perhaps they’re offering a free cuppa with it. He said “no it’s £28”. I was going to go, but with the 12pm KO and live on Ch4 one will be missing this now sadly. But i wonder with the all seater stadia at Wigan & Hull if they will bring back any standing areas ?. -

Full credit goes to the Sheffield fans who made the journey though. -
I chose the two derby’s CW because they haven’t really played each against that much other over the last few years. I think (im not 100% sure) the last time Vale & Stoke met was in the dreadful U21’s thing, were premier league clubs send their youngsters to league 1 & 2 clubs. Vale had a decent crowd on for that game, the only problem that spoilt the night was the few idiots who had to cause bother and smash things up.
-
Id love to go a few football derby’s especially Stoke/Port Vale. Bristol R v Bristol C. They say the most policed derby is Chester/Wrexham but i don’t know if that is still the case ?.
-
There must be a lot of police on duty for the Celtic/Rangers game, no days off or holidays.
-
Keane being considered for the Sunderland job, it will only end in tears. But i think Bruce would do a decent job at WBA.
-
The Japanese lad had a cracking game with two good goals. Rangers looked as if it was their first game of the season. I don’t usually watch the Scottish prem, so i was shocked to see Joe Hart still playing.
-
It doesn’t look good especially if you look back a couple of years ago.
-
I wonder what Glasgow is like before & after the match. No away fan’s i don’t see the point in that, are both clubs not adult enough to sort out their differences ?.
-
They need it CW.
-
It’s shocking, it’s bad enough in RL but football is miles ahead on how to waste time.
-
The biggest game of the season is on this coming Saturday Scunthorpe v Oldham. Whoever loses is virtually on the way to hell. I think Oldham will beat Scunthorpe, if they don’t id imagine the OAFC fans will be protesting against their not very popular owner.
-
I went to Wigan Athletic v Oxford this evening, and bar the first 25mins when Oxford took the lead the rest of the match was played in the Oxford half. WAFC were very unlucky not too get three or four goals. But the time wasting by Oxford was shocking, i was neutral-ish but they even annoyed me. It wasn’t a bad night, it was free, and i had a pie & a pint. A good following from Oxford.
