Good old RL fan mentality, discount eventsPrices have gone up which they should have but tickets selling well with 5000 or so already gone plus 19 boxes plus 200 diners in premier. At least Batley will make on the split this time and won’t face the shock of 1500 freebies in the gate Leigh win, good fight from Batley 6700+ crowd

No they closed it due to no or poor competition as they were denied access to big boy league. Love how this thread was hijacked into a Leigh knockathon by the first few posts by the usual knownowts -
Huddersfield came down into the championship 2002 after a great run in 2nd half of SL 2001 after TS settled in, kept FT when central funding was about £60k for the rest and drew gates of 1500 or so - so the pay roll was paid by Davy as he rightfully saw no future outside SL. Your income will have been massively below expenditure that year.

3-4 back to backs, so how do you get that many against a disciplined team?? and how do you get enough in a game to dent the under 2 try's conceded per game? Our only issue will be a poor ref who allows niggle to disrupt the game, slowing it down and creating a stop/start borefest. Thats McD's gameplan written for you

You really have a problem - only questions answered and opinions made.

OK cash reserves and equity very positive until the 2021 season dug into them - as I stated equity moved from a negative £1.9m to a positive £160k during this period. 2021 and this year will have the opposite effect. Wigans net worth is negative £5.9m in 2020 and I cant find 2021 results as a comparative

Hasn’t he along with a bloke, often in Derek’s box, who recently sold his holiday parks for many many millions??

Saints and Leeds don’t seem to be paying crazy money to imports, and seem more capable of keeping the kids From what I can see Leigh made a profit from season 2017-2020, I can’t see 2021 or 2022 being that way but we didn’t take the covid loan, indeed 2020 showed us with £500k cash in bank

Bums off seats watching game and I assume puts Bums on seats selling tickets - the latter is easily quantifiable with stats.

I was aware of our offer, which was substantial enough to get the Wigan management whingeing, but my comment is valid - Wiggin havent been making profits and whatever extra he has got will have to come from somewhere - which will be the kids who are now rightfully demanding to be paid for the adult job they now do. So the stupidity of the cap could end up losing the best producer of young talent the talent it has worked hard to create - McConnell already gone to Leeds and I would love to see Halsall and O'Brien at Leigh when the bidding starts.
