It doesn’t matter what the event is, as tenants, they’re not going to be given the ground to use. It’s pretty common knowledge and something Broncos should know (Charlton, Brentford, Fulham, Wimbledon etc) that football is a July to May season. At least with sharing with a Union side, Broncos would be relatively free to do as they wish from May to August or September.

AFC Wimbledon, the landlords, are playing a home friendly against QPR. That’s the problem with being tenants somewhere because you’ll always be second thought.

The General State of France's Elite One Competition

Does Rugby League in the UK get support from the union lot? -
Highly unlikely, I’d suggest. Mrs Holbrook left a very good career behind (I can’t remember what the career is, mind) in Australia when they come to Saints. I can’t see her giving it up a second time. I can see Holbrook ending up as a number two somewhere, which will be a higher paid gig than most, if not all, Super League jobs.

And ever with rugby league, where’s the finance coming? Clubs getting themselves out there and having a digital footprint with little to no money is far more important at the minute. -

It’s a surprising Saints side. It’s going to be a big pack but how creative it is, I’m not sure. -
Rohan Michael leading Irish charge to Rugby League
Jughead replied to lucky 7's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
What charge? Are there any clubs actually playing in Ireland? What’s the juniors set up like? -
I’ve just caught up with this. No Chisinău Chimneypots involved? I’ve been a lifelong fan since I heard about this a year ago. I’ve tattooed the badge on my chest and been waiting for the new shirt to come out.

Reece Lyne still plays? Jesus. He seems to have been around forever. -
There’s other factors like previous records to consider too, which influence length of ban, too.

Not particularly, no.

It’s not been judged that way. Both were Grade F’s.

Seen a lot of moaning about suspensions to Griffin and O’Donnell. I don’t think Griffin has been harshly treated, more O’Donnell has got off lightly.

Are they not in, though unofficially? I haven’t known Skolars to utilise the north anywhere near as much as they are this year, since the days of the Wigan dual-reg agreement. Players in on loan from Huddersfield, Sheffield and Wakefield would suggest something has changed at the club. It’s not shown much as yet, mind (though they pushed Workington and Doncaster(?) for a while recently).

There’s really not enough data to suggest that France in France is a harder contest when it’s happened about three or four times in fifteen years. It’s hardly conclusive evidence. Also, I think England need to be playing in England as much as possible. It was vital England played international games in England in 2023.

Is there? Are these competent sports with decent administrations behind them?
