  1. By the time he gets his licence back he will no longer be a player and a club car will not be available.
  2. Anyone know if any of the Super League games will be shown in Australia and if so on what medium. Last season we got all Sky televised games and the Championship Monday game. I spoke to someone at Foxtel and they say they are not covering any games this year. Disappointing.
  3. So, how many points does this get them under IMG?
  4. Agree entirely with this comment. If you watch rugby league on Foxtel in Australia, you are inundated with sponsorship which is not in your face but just brings in money. This is not only on the live games but programmes midweek with Matty Johns, NRL 360 and Vossy with The Fan. Just about everything you can imagine is sponsored, timer clock on the screen with Hisense, Friednight Footy, microphone used to do interviews, Harvey Norman replay, Victoria Bitter for moment of the week, HCF sponsor something else and Maccas are involved somewhere, it goes on. The key thing is it is not like commercial tv, just in the back ground. Why Sky cannot do something like this on a weekly basis, even a dedicated rugby league channel would help. Programs are done on repeat so you will never miss anything. All income will help produce a better spectacle.
  5. I was never convinced that Danny Ward wanted the job. Once spoke to his dad when he was a player at Cas and he said he hated the place so very surprised to see him accept the role, and like said previously, why would you up sticks from leafy surry to move to West Yorkshire for a couple of years.
  6. I think there's a place for him at the Mend a Hose Jungle if he's interested.
  7. Would like to see this guy at Castleford Tigers next year, any chance?
  8. I couldn't agree more. I attended my first SoO since moving to Australia and thought I had dropped lucky getting tickets for behind the posts, how wrong. Although it was great to be near to where the players and officials came out, to actually watch the game on field was so difficult. I think it was about 30 yards to the posts and you could just watch the game upto the 20m line and then you ending up watching the big screen, so disappointing. The Aussie fans are a funny lot though, no chanting, just moaning about opposition. Next time a ticket on the half way line.
