I really don’t agree with that last line. Klingons have changed again even though Enterprise nicely closed off the human looking of TOS against the later ridged versions Discovery has holo communications even though that was a new concept in the later episodes of DS9 I agree the story arc is good. But I’d prefer them to say it wasn’t the same timeline or something like that, instead of insisting it’s in the same “universe” when there’s these inconsistencies. I just like things to fit, not sure if it’s a minor irritation or something that’ll put me off it, probably find out when it starts again, it’s more likely some sort of Trek related OCD ??

I’m a big fan of Star Trek. I’m yet to be sold on Discovery yet. Just doesn’t seem to fit in with the rest

Thanks to posters about mentioning Detectorists. It seemed to have passed me by, but now caught up on them all. Great viewing ?

The Street next to mine has a house that’s had its tree up since start of November along with a massive Santa outside from last week ?

Uninteresting Trivial Facts

I'll be watching it. I hope they don't mess things up. I'm a bit worried the show makers will. For instance. Enterprise did well to close a loop hole on the different looks of Klingons from Original Series to the newer movies & shows which I thought was clever at the time. They seem to have a new look again for Discovery which is meant to be cannon against those shows. I'm very nit picky it seems ?? -

Thanks - I'll look into one of those. I'm down to just 2.5mg of Bisoprolol (previously 10mg of it plus 10mg of Amlodipine) i was running high even with those dosages before Christmas but after a failed kidney transplant in January and a series of hemodialys my BP seems to be under control - just want to keep it that way ? -

What do you use to monitor it? I have a Lloyds Pharmacy one but its always showing higher than when the nurse does it at clinic and we're playing about with my dosage of tablets at the moment so need something a bit more accurate. I've been looking at others but not sure what to use -
People jumping red lights at busy times. I counted one instance of 4 cars going through on red this morning. Is everybody really in such a rush?

That's quite a good description of my Friday night also -
Glad to here. I used it a while back and only last week a recruiter said to me nobody uses it anymore. What do they know ?

A video is just a collection of photographs anyway isn't it? -
An overrun car park will have a knock on effect with the locals who I'm sure are very vocal in their complaints We have that issue all the time at my club - it's hard to fix without money

With the tight budgets that councils have to work with nowadays I'm not surprised something like this has happened They've probably assessed how much the additional maintenance is needed due to this event and passed on the cost to the organisers - probably a reaction to the recent wet winter - 300 or so runners on wet ground will do damage

Salford City Reds docked two competition points
Spidey replied to League Express's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
What were Salford appealing anyway? a) That they didn't field 14 players or The sanction imposed If it was a, that was a bit daft as the evidence was quite conclusive for all to see If it was b, then there is always the possibility that the appeals committee could actually send out a more severe sentence Either way an appeal as three outcomes, either nothing changes, the club are better off or the club are worse off
