Dave T
You lot seem a well travelled bunch on here, so looking for a favour. My sister is in New York this Sunday and desperately wants somewhere to watch the semi final, does anybody have any tips on where she could get to watch the game on BBC? Cheers in advance. Onto the actual game, I can't wait now, it's the first game I have been to for a month or so, am driving down from Edinburgh on Sunday morning to sunny Widnes. I am a bit more worried than a few weeks back, we were sloppy at times the other day, but I still think we would have had too much for Catalans, but then we didn't 2 weeks back. Just like last year's semi we need the key players to stand up and be counted (Monaghan, Briers and King) - I thought all three of them were below average last weekend. Looking forward to the Morley v Ferriol battle, hope nothing stupid happens though! I'll go for Wire by 8 crowd of 10,

Wendall
I think Wire will have too much class for Catalans all over the park. The only danger is complacency and cockyness that seems to have got into the team after the Wigan win a few weeks back. I think Wire thought Catalans would be easy beats a few weeks back and they have done us a favour by beating us. The Saints game too will have done us some good in that it will make us refocus on the cup and forget the past few weeks in SL. Wire by 12. ParisSurtout
village tavern i used to watch football matches at this place, so they may show it if she asks nicely! The game will start at 10.30 am New York time (glad to see you picked up your time zone mistake sam ) So there should not be any US sport in competition. But the question is whether they have access to the terrestrial BBC TV programming on US satellite. I cannot be 100% sure, but I doubt it. As far as I know US satellite and cable services only offer BBC World News and BBC America, neither of which show British sports. Moreover, unlike in Eastern Europe the British satellite footprint does not reach USA, so USA pub owners cannot subscribe to Sky from a British address, and then illegally set up their dish and box in the USA (the way some pubowners in Moscow and Sofia do in their countries, as I can testify from experience).
