'The Centurion' is the match day magazine of Leigh Centurions. Here's a brief taster of what is in this week's edition. We have lots of information on the Raiders, and RL in general - it's not all about ourselves!

We’re still at 36 pages this week.

Our new cover features three more of our highly photogenic forwards – I’ll have to have a word with the skipper, to ask why his wife doesn’t appear to have ‘snapped’ any of our backs!

Head Coach PAUL ROWLEY talks to DAVE PARKINSON and MARK TAYLOR, about the heavy home defeat by Sheffield, and the return to form in a bruising encounter at Dewsbury.

Skipper ROB PARKER also talks about the Dewsbury game and is still boasting about his mastery of the new technology. (That’s Twitter, not the Bic biro!)

MIKE HULME compares the situation of London Broncos with Melbourne Storm. You wouldn’t believe how much cash is being pumped into the Storm – even more than Salford!

CEO TREVOR BARTON spells out progress towards our latest financial target, and shows a positive side of the club.

GARETH WALKER, of League Express, reports on the progress of North Wales Crusaders.

DAVE PARKINSON has another double page dose of ‘Facts & stats’, focusing on Leigh v Barrow games. He also updates us on two massive victories for the Under 20’s.

Award winning photographer MAURICE JONES provides visual evidence of the Sheffield game – just in case we’d forgotten it already!

Love RL correspondent, TONY WILLIAMS looks at (or should that be ‘listens to’?) the impact of bad language on the field of play.

RYAN BRIERLEY has more on the Infusion Dance Academy. Surprisingly he isn’t the favourite player of this week’s ‘Red Toxic Girl’. In fact her choice is surprising – I reckon she was influenced by last week’s cover photo!

ALAN EDGE looks at another mind-bending announcement from the RFL. I mean, how complicated can you make a cup draw? He also reports on punishments being meted out to the tweeting fraternity of the RFL. Skipper and CEO beware!! He also has an in-depth look at our visitors from Barrow.

ALAN PLATT updates us on Touchdown news.

The JUNIOR CENTURIONS are back – and we’ve got the feature to prove it!

As usual, we have the squad, fixture and LOTTERY, and COMMERCIAL information – all packed into 27 full pages of editorial content, for just £2.50.

Unfortunately, because of printing deadlines for a Thursday game, the programme WILL NOT be on sale at our town centre retail outlet, in the days prior to the game.
