RogerT
If I have got the right man his name is John Thomas Munns born in Batley measured 5'5" and was a millhand. Born 1872. There are attestation records for this person into the Army 1890, but dismissed the Army in 1890 for lying about his age on signing up, all pointing towards him being about 24/27 at the final. Unfortunately I can't quiet make out his home address, or should I say his next of kin(mother), I'm away to Scotland for a few days in the morning so I can't follow this up till I'm back unless anybody as membership of Find My Past and go onto the military section and just input J T Munns, born Yorkshire and surprise this is the first one out. Cheers Roger.
