The Lensbury, Teddington - London Broncos connection?

Just back from a 2 day conference here. An impressive venue with top sports facilities for tennis, England rugby union etc. What surprised me though was when I went to the gym, there were 4 signed framed shirts on the wall, all rugby league. Broncos home and away, Rob Purdhams shirt saying 18 years London rugby league and I think a Tonga World Cup one. Does anyone know what connection the Broncos have with the venue? It's not often you see rugby league associated at all down south, let alone at such a 'posh' venue
