This is really great news and exactly the sort of thing NZRL needs. RFL did similar recently with their impact on community study which shows the positive £ that it brings to often deprived areas and social economic groups. 

A special mention to Agent Raelene Castle who’s cropped up at Sport NZ 😂, after the sterling work she did at ARU, she’s now continuing to help TGG

Those who devise these strategies do love their impenetrable jargon.

No mention about links with schools.  

There`s a club south of Auckland called Pukekohe Pythons who have reasonable numbers of participants, but who seem to operate out of a grotty portacabin. The bottom line for this sort of initiative is whether it results in clubs like Pukekohe getting decent facilities.
