In a normal year it may not be so bad but with covid kicking off again it seems idiotic to take players from clubs who have been semi isolating and then mix players from different clubs some of whom have an ongoing issue with covid

Origin is an exhibition match... look at the so called origins of the teams.

With the level of testing these players have I don't think that's a realistic issue.

And we’ve made it a non-event. History also tells us, we’ll probably not be playing “Combined Nations” in 5 years.

I agree.  We should have made space at the outset and we should have cut all the loop fixtures as well.
