I know this has already been discussed, but today it looks more than ever to me that those who endlessly write about how Superleague could do better, have a point. Living in Italy I can pay and watch every game of NRL from their website; tonight I'll do that for Ulster vs Stade Toulousain on the EPCR site, and why on earth it's not possible to do the same for Saints vs Wigan this afternoon ? I would do it. I have nothing to do at that time.

Surely that's Sky's decision more than the sport, they own the broadcast rights, not RL.

Fair enough, I welcome your clarification. I still wonder why Skysports has a different policy for EPCR's competitions. You look to know more than me on these matters. Is it maybe because in Union's case  they are not single rights owner ?

Not sure mate, I expect its all down to contractual obligations. But in the end it will always be the rights owners decision. Though maybe the rfl didn't even ask.
