'YORKSHIRE THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE 2023'

⛰️ ⛰️ ⛰️

Fancy the chance to get fit and challenging yourself on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in 2023 whilst helping to raise vital funds for the Batley Sporting Foundation?

The route is 24 miles (38.6km) long and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent over the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, usually in this order and in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

All participants that sign up will be able to take advantage of free gym sessions in the Community Gym to prepare you for the big day and and will be encouraged to join in with a number of training walks on the lead up to the event.

The challenge is likely to be held on a Saturday in June but yet tbc and numbers may need to be limited so please do not hesitate in getting your name down.

If you're interested in taking part or have any questions, please email andy@batleysportingfoundation.org

The Bulldogs Community Team have been working on a few special incentives for the participants of our Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.

When each participant hits their £250 fundraising target, they will be entered into a prize draw, for a chance to win a signed Bulldogs shirt!

PLUS...

Batley Bulldogs have donated an hospitality box, for the London Broncos match on 25th June, as a prize for the participant who raises the highest amount of donations.

The winner of the hospitality box will be able to bring 9 friends along to watch the match from a private sponsor box or from the lounge with a full hospitality package.

Every participant in the challenge will be invited, as Community Team guests, to the Broncos match on the 25th June, so even if you don't win the hospitality box, everyone will still be able to get together, to hopefully celebrate a successful challenge.

At half time, everyone who completed the challenge will be presented with a finishers medal and the winner of the shirt will be announced.

I admire your commitment and devotion to the cause.

24 miles is bad enough, but to listen to 3 women chuntering for that distance would double it, they are better off in their own little group....besides i would hate to push them too hard lol...

My daughter has her own "just giving" page, and as she works for a charity herself its a struggle to ask for sponsors, anyone wanting to donate a pound or two this is her page. thank you.
