York Match Today

I think today's performance was possibly the worst I have seen for a long long time. From the start the team looked out of sorts making silly mistakes and gifting York position that let to early tries.

I know we have lots of injuries but the team today just didn't look up for it - where as York we quick at the play the ball and had excellent players at # 6, 7 and 13 effectively running game passing the ball at speed. and creating so many scoring chances.

I am sorry to say it but playing Gregson at hooker / acting halfback made a good player look bad 😞

I hope the team can turn it round for next week - so that the team isn't humiliated at Barrow.

Terrible performance, York schooled us in those first 20  mins and we let their half backs run amock. Doesnt sound good for Barrow with the injury lis, Alan Coleman saying we are going to be rotating the squad and no DR either. Thinking of giving the game a miss

What me not turning up to an away game or the coach saying we basically had no chance?

I didn't go to Barrow and I guess until there is footage of the game on YouTube its hard to say how the team played, the score would suggest that the team collapsed in the second half ?

I think its reasonable to say the team is in a downward spiral right now and isn't playing to it's full potential.

I just hope the team gives a good account of themselves against Featherstone on Sunday and then hopefully build on that to get back to be able to start winning matches.

I hope the coach does not ship in a load of St Helens youngsters as a panic measure.
