Interesting article in the Rugby League Express this week about a winter competition starting up. Will there be much uptake?

Will it link into the main NCL season somehow? Haven't got the paper in front of me but can't remember that being mentioned

Haven't got the paper at work, but I think that article was about the Pennine league, which remained a winter league after most of the other amateur leagues moved to summer
