1895 Cup

Sheffield Eagles will host Batley Bulldogs in the Quarter-Final of the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup.

This tie will be played on the weekend of 2nd/3rd March, with match details to be confirmed in due course.

Should we beat the Bulldogs, we’d then take on either York Knights or Oldham away in the Semi-Final. This game would be played on the weekend of 11/12 May.

The game has been confirmed for Sunday, 3rd March, 15:00, at the Olympic Legacy Park.

Generally it's cheaper if you buy on line but there is usually a cash option, to be safe I'd get in touch with the Club as it's a Cup game, just to be sure!

A first for me, listened on the radio, Andy Atkinson and Mark Barlow provided the somewhat partial opinions:-

calling forward passes and knock-on's which were not given by Sir 

accusing Eagles of being wind-up merchants

accusing Thacks of being in Sir's ear

wanting to know why Sir was consulting with the touch judge

Really good to hear the Eagles fans out shout York
