The Oldham Standard Cup Final took place on Saturday. Rochdale Mayfield were the victors by 44 v 24 against Waterhead. The match was watched by over 1,800 fans at Boundary Park Oldham. 

It just goes to show how popular Amateur Rugby League can be.
