Will be interested to see how this pans out.

Hurricanes held a promotion for the game v Workington last Sunday where 'local heroes' could apply for free tickets. Sounds great but it's not quite as simple as putting up posters in the local nick / hospital / etc. We had a few take advantage but not enough to get excited about.

It's all about getting new people through the door and showing them what they've been missing of course but I wonder if Cru stand to benefit from extra cash over the bar / pie stand. Also whether there will be any whinging from those who have bought season tickets who will feel somehow robbed

I think a £10 beer token for season ticket holders would be a good gesture considering.
