Great crowd at Albi for the clash with St Esteve. Apparently 3000 in attendance - a sure sign of the great work the Tigers are doing on and off the field. Exciting finish with the Catalan reserves stealing it at the death after receiving a contentious penalty with 30 seconds to go. Tapped the ball about 55 metres out and kicked for the winger who collected the ball and scored to seal a 4-point win. Also pleasing to see how well Villefranche have performed since their promotion. They finished over the top of Limoux overnight, winning away 34-24. Plus St Gaudens beat Pia 18-14. All in all a thoroughly entertaining weekend of matches.
