Hull KR front rower James Green says the Robins are preparing to face a Salford Red Devils outfit at their best at the KC Lightstream Stadium on Sunday.
Like the Robins, Iestyn Harris’ side have been inconsistent throughout much of 2014 but have impressed in recent victories over Huddersfield Giants and Hull FC after adding the likes of Kevin Locke and Mason Caton-Brown to their ranks.
Green said: “They’ve been a bit hit and miss, they’ve had some really good performances and then not really backed them up so you’re never quite sure what you’re going to get from them.
“We had a close game with them at their place but they’ve been in good form over the last couple of weeks and we’re preparing for them to be at their best.
“It’s hard to pick out anybody in particular as they’ve got so many dangerous players but Rangi Chase is always one to look out for.
“We need to front up in the middle because they’ve got a huge pack. We’re really confident after our last two performances under Chessy but we just need to smarten up one or two areas.”
