Two changes for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have been handed a major boost ahead of their trip to Catalan on Saturday, after captain Danny Kirmond returned to their squad for the trip across the Channel.

Kirmond missed out against Widnes last Thursday due to injury, but he is the touring party for the game which could have a defining impact on the Wildcats’ position at the end of the season. And Jarrod Sammut – who has been left out over the last few weeks – is also in the squad. Sammut has recently spent time on dual-registration at Featherstone whilst being out of favour under head coach James Webster.

Wakefield squad to face Catalan: Mathers, Lyne, Sykes, Anderson, McShane, Lauitiiti, Kirmond, Washbrook, Wildie, Ryan, Moore, Tautai, Keinhorst, Sammut, Scruton, Riley, Owen, Gilmour, Smith.
