Hull KR coach Craig Sandercock says inconsistent full-back Greg Eden has made some significant improvements to his game while on loan at Salford and has a great chance of starting against Warrington on Friday night.
The Robins’ current first-choice at the back, TotalRL columnist Ben Cockayne, is out for nine weeks through injury but Sandercock believes his position will be in safe hands.
“I am confident Greg can come in and carry on where Ben left off,” Sandercock told the Hull Daily Mail.
“We’re lucky in that we didn’t have a game last weekend and he was in his car to us straight away and training straight away.
“I’ve been really impressed with him in the week and a half he’s been back. He’s raring to play and has improved the areas I’ve asked him to work on.
“Looking at him in training I feel he is slowly getting to where he needs to be. There were a few technical issues he needed to work on but I won’t bore you with them.”
