Halifax have revealed that their upcoming home game against London Broncos has been switched to Keighley’s Cougar Park stadium.
Fax will not have played a home game for six weeks by the time that game comes around due to work on the pitch at The Shay, but due to those works being extended, they have now had to move the match against the Broncos.
They said: “The Council have informed us that temperatures have been dropping below the optimum growing temperature for grass at night, and have therefore extended the recovery period by one week.
“The game has been moved to Saturday 27th at 6pm at Cougar Park, Keighley, home ground of Keighley Cougars, subject to RFL and London Broncos’ agreement. We will be in touch with sponsors and those with executive dining very soon to inform them of special arrangements.”
