Halifax player banned for 10 matches

Halifax’s Dane Manning has been hit with a whopping 10 match ban, after being found guilty of two charges in the same game.

Manning was charged with a Grade E use of the elbow for his challenge on former Fax man Sam Barlow – which he received a five-match suspension for.

He also was given five matches for a Grade D charge of sustained punching – after an incident which occurred seconds after the brawl in the Leigh v Halifax match last Wednesday.

He will now return for Fax’s final regular round match of the season.
