Hardaker NRL move backed by James Graham

England prop and NRL star James Graham says that he’s delighted fellow international team-mate Zak Hardaker is eyeing up the chance to take his career to the next level in Australia’s elite competition.

Hardaker is the subject of much transfer speculation over his future after being transfer-listed by Super League champions Leeds, with a move to the NRL top of Hardaker’s wish-list.

And Graham, who has been in the NRL with Canterbury for a number of years, told AAP that he’s pleased to see a player of Hardaker’s ability fancy a crack at the competition.

“Zak is a great character and he is a quality rugby league player,” Graham said.

“I have been fortunate enough to be friends and teammates with him for a number of years now.

“There are a few boys who have decided to head back to England, Zak is one of those young lads who has verbalised that he wants to come over here and test himself in this league so hopefully he gets the opportunity to do that.

“I’m looking forward to him hopefully realising those dreams. He is really keen to come over – it has been on his radar for a while.
