New Widnes signing Weller Hauraki has been named in the club’s 19-man squad to face Catalans on Saturday.
The back-rower has joined the club from Salford on a loan deal until the end of the season and is set to make his debut in the club’s important game in France.
Widnes are bottom of the table, five points adrift of the top eight with eight games to spare.
Catalans, meanwhile, could move into the top eight over the weekend for the first time this season.
They’ll have to do it without Jodie Broughton however, who has been ruled out through injury. Fouad Yaha has taken his place.
