Huddersfield Giants coach targets three from three

Huddersfield Giants coach Paul Anderson has called on his side to win their final three regular season games – starting with tonight’s trip across the Pennines to face Warrington Wolves.

A win for either side tonight will hoist them up to second on the ladder with just two games left – although it would only likely be a temporary rise up the table, with their rivals still to play this weekend.

And Anderson has set his side the target of winning all three of their final games to ensure a top-four finish – and head into the play-offs with some valuable momentum.

“Our focus is to win three games from three with the first obstacle being Warrington Wolves tonight and we are focusing on ourselves, like we always do,” he said.

“Warrington Wolves are a benchmark club with the things they do both on and off the field. They do a lot of things that we can aspire to. They’re a good team and are very experienced in big games, they also have a winning mentality and we will look to challenge that tonight.

“Regardless of who we are playing, we know that if we want to be where we think we should be, then we have to win all three games and get into that top four.”
