Huddersfield stun league leaders Warrington

By Michael Hale

Huddersfield Giants picked up their second win of the season with a victory over Super League leaders Warrington Wolves.

Aaron Murphy and Leroy Cudjoe went over either side of half-time in a much improved Giants’ performance.

Danny Brough missed two conversions but added more gloss to the victory with a second-half` penalty and drop goal.

Hull KR were the only team to concede more points than the Giants going into this clash but their defence held strong as Warrington finished on nil.

Huddersfield remain bottom of the table due to Leeds Rhinos beating Hull FC 20-18 at Headingley.
