Hull FC coach Lee Radford has warned the club’s fans that they’re working hard on plans for 2016 and beyond, describing some of the discussions they’re having as “exciting”.
Hull announced on Tuesday that winger Tom Lineham would leave the club to join Warrington in a six-figure transfer deal, but they also announced a new deal for talented youngster Curtis Naughton.
And Radford said that although the club are keeping their cards close to their chest, they do have some plans in place to improve the side next year.
“Our recruitment and retention work is ongoing and we are in advance discussions with a number of parties, which is very exciting for us,” said Radford.
“We’re looking at players of significant quality that we feel will improve our sides in key areas, but we don’t want to say any more than that.
“Once our work is done, our fans will be the first to know. Until then, everything is just speculation.”
