Hull Kingston Rovers will host Bradford Bulls in the opening weekend of the 2017 Kingstone Press Championship competition on Sunday 5 February, while the season will begin the previous day when newly promoted Toulouse host Batley Bulldogs in France.
The Championship season begins a week earlier than the Super League season, and the RFL has produced a first weekend of fixtures that will whet the appetite of Championship and Super League supporters alike, with the Robins likely to draw a big crowd to witness their first appearance in the second-tier competition since 2006.
