Toronto to face five opening away games in League 1

New League 1 club the Toronto Wolfpack have been handed five successive away matches to open their inaugural league campaign in 2017.

The Wolfpack will open the season with a trip to London Skolars on Saturday 4 March, and they will then play successive away games against Whitehaven, Keighley Cougars, Doncaster and North Wales Crusaders, before they play their first home game at Lamport on Saturday 6 May.

There will be eight fixtures for each round of the competition, on the assumption that York City Knights are able to solve their current problems, although for the time being the Knights have been excluded from the published fixture list.
