AFTER 16 rounds of this season’s Super League competition, Hull FC lie in tenth place with ten points, ten behind the play-off places.
Their chances of making the play-offs are now tiny, but they will disappear completely if they go down to another defeat against their deadly rivals Hull KR.
They have lost nine of their last ten matches against the Robins but their hopes will have risen after a promising display last time out against Wigan, which they were unfortunate to lose 16-20.
Interim coach Andy last recalls Cade Cust to replace winger Harvey Barron, who suffered a head injury against the Warriors and that is their only squad change.
Robins coach Willie Peters, in contrast, has to make three changes, with Tom Amone (facial injury), Dean Hadley (concussion) and Tevita Pangai Jr (suspension) all missing.
They are replaced by winger Lee Kershaw, back from his loan spell at Huddersfield, his fellow winger Harvey Horne and halfback Jack Charles, which means that the Robins could be light in the forwards for a clash that they will be eager to win, having fallen to sixth place after their 38-8 defeat to Leeds Rhinos in Round 16,
