THERE’S mixed news on the injury front for Leeds Rhinos ahead of the visit of Hull FC to close the regular season.

After a comprehensive home defeat to Wigan Warriors last Saturday, Leeds would require an unlikely favour from Catalans Dragons at The Brick Community Stadium in order to have a chance of lifting the League Leaders’ Shield.

But they will at least want to get some momentum back against Hull on Friday, and find their rhythm without Lachlan Miller after the star fullback was ruled out for the play-offs with a hamstring injury suffered in that Wigan game.

Ash Handley is in line to move from centre and take Miller’s place at the back, but that won’t be the only change with Maika Sivo (arm) and Keenan Palasia (foot) set to return following their own injuries.

James McDonnell won’t feature until the play-offs, however, after being given more time to recover from his pec issue.

Home supporters will get the chance to say farewell to Tom Briscoe, the retiring Hull FC back who made over 200 appearances across nine seasons at Leeds and is to play his 400th and last Super League match.

Zak Hardaker, another departing player, and James Bell come in for Hull’s final game under the interim coaching of Andy Last, with Sam Lisone and Ligi Sao unavailable.
