LEIGH LEOPARDS and Wakefield Trinity have both named the strongest squads possible as they look to take form into the play-offs – and likely a repeat clash a week later.
Wakefield go into the final round in fourth, two points ahead of Leigh, who would need to win by 28 points or more to overtake their opponents in the table and so earn a home play-off eliminator.
A Trinity victory could clinch third place for them, and push Leigh down to sixth, depending on results elsewhere, but most likely these sides will meet again in the first round of the play-offs – just as they did last season, when the Leopards won it on home turf.
Leigh make just the one enforced squad change with AJ Towse replacing Keanan Brand, who could miss the rest of their campaign with an ankle injury, while Wakefield have named the same 21.
