JOSH CHARNLEY and Lachlan Lam will miss Leigh Leopards’ clash against Hull KR this weekend, head coach Adrian Lam has revealed.
Both men took huge gashes on their legs in the win over Bradford Bulls last weekend and Lam has detailed the issues both men face.
“We’ve got two big gashes, so one on Lachie Lam’s knee and the other on Josh Charnley’s,” Lam said.
“They’ve both got around ten stitches on each leg and if they lean on it then it will pop back open.
“They are pretty fresh on a five-day turnaround. It was from the tags of boots on other players so that’s maybe something we need to look into.
“They both want to play but it could get infected and bust back open.”
Tesi Niu and Umyla Hanley will return for the fixture against Hull KR.
