Sheffield Eagles have added experienced frontrower Matt James to their full-time squad for 2016.
James, who most recently has been at Featherstone, has Super League experience with Bradford, Wakefield and Harlequins and has signed a two-year contract.
Sheffield coach Mark Aston said: “Matt is an exciting talent – he has that explosiveness that gets fans out of their seats and we are pleased to have him here.
“There is no doubt for me that he is a gifted lad, and we think he will shine in our full-time environment.”
He joins Adam Neal, George Tyson, Mark Mexico and Matty Fozard in moving to Sheffield for the 2016 season.
The Eagles have also agreed a new contract with 21-year-old front rower Jack Blagbrough. The former Huddersfield Giants youngster had a loan spell with Championship One side York City Knights last season.
