LONDON BRONCOS have signed another Warrington Wolves player for next season in prop Joe Philbin as they continue to look to a Super League return.
Having already confirmed the recruitment of centre Toby King, the Championship leaders have also agreed a two-year contract with Philbin to start in 2027.
The 31-year-old, who has represented England, Ireland and Great Britain and has forged a reputation as a consistent and reliable operator, has spent his entire career to date with hometown club Warrington.
Philbin came through the development system and has made more than 250 appearances for the Wolves, while having early loan stints at Swinton Lions, North Wales Crusaders, Rochdale Hornets and Bradford Bulls.
Both he and King are currently sidelined by injuries (knee and lower leg respectively).
“The signing represents another major step forward for London Broncos as preparations continue around our long-term ambitions,” said the capital club.
Coach Jason Demetriou added: “Joe is exactly the type of player we want here as we continue building a strong roster capable of competing at a high level.
“He brings genuine experience, understands what it takes to perform week in, and week out, and adds a real edge to our forward pack that will be incredibly valuable for us.
“We are building for continued success, and Joe is another important piece of that moving forward.”
