MASON CATON-BROWN has insisted that ‘transparency’ and ‘open communication’ with Salford fans is the only way forward for the new club.
Caton-Brown, along with Malcolm Crompton and Paul Hancock, won the bid to join the RFL membership as part of a phoenix club.
And, it’s all about looking forward now.
“I think what’s happened in the last 12 months has been horrendous for the club and we want to change all of that,” Caton-Brown told League Express.
“Our group is built from Salford supporters. We know that transparency and open communication with the fans and community is really important.
“That’s what we are all about. We want to be holding regular communication with the fans. We had a fans’ forum that was at the stadium in January for the first game where fans could ask questions and get back together as a community.
“We have spoken to The 1873 group and the Supporters’ Trust throughout these last few weeks and I think they are behind us as a group.
“We all want the best for Salford and have the same goal in mind.”
