Micky McIlorum is set to make his long-awaited return to action… in his testimonial match.
Super League Champions Wigan confirmed plans for the hooker’s testimonial today, which includes a game against Leigh Centurions on January 22nd.
The game, which will take place at Leigh Sports Village, will come almost 11 months since McIlorum broke and dislocated his ankle in the World Club Series against Brisbane Broncos.
However, the popular number nine confirmed on Twitter that he hopes to make his comeback in the match, just under a month before the start of the Super League season.

The 28-year-old has been at Wigan since 2005 and never left. He made his debut in 2007 and has made over 200 appearances since.
