ST HELENS have agreed a one-year contract extension with homegrown forward Cole Marsh.
The 20-year-old, who can play at hooker or loose-forward, progressed through Saints’ scholarship and academy sides to join the first-team squad last season.
While he is yet to make a senior debut, Marsh has featured regularly for the reserves and he said: “It was a big year for me.
“Physically, I feel like I improved a lot, and I got to learn so much just by being around the squad and learning from experienced lads like Morgan Knowles and Matty Lees.
“I want to be a leader in the reserves, lead from the front and do the best I can for the team.”
