SYDNEY ROOSTERS remain unbeaten after winning the best game of the season so far.

Seven minutes from time, Jayme Fressard touched down a Jocelyn Kelleher kick one-handed to earn a 22-18 victory at CANBERRA RAIDERS.

Canberra had led 14-4 shortly after half-time as Jordyn Preston’s try added to a six-point half-time advantage earned through Bobbi Law and Sheridan Gallagher tries plus a Zehara Temara penalty-goal.

Sariah Paki and Tarryn Aiken turned things in Sydney’s favour with two Kelleher conversions edging them ahead, only for Mackenzie Wiki to put Canberra two points in front.

But Fressard, who also scored the opening try of the game, notched the winner, Kelleher kicking her third goal as the Raiders’ inability to convert any of their four tries proved costly.

CANTERBURY BULLDOGS are off the mark this season thanks in no small part to Simina Lokotui’s hat-trick in a 24-18 home success over still-winless CRONULLA SHARKS.

Elizabeth MacGregor and Monica Tagoai also scored tries, and Tayla Preston kicked two goals.

Chantay Kiria-Ratu converted Quincy Dodd and Cassie Staples tries to put Cronulla only two points adrift at half-time, but their final try from Jaydika Tafua, goaled by Georgia Hannaway, came too late.

The weekend’s other four matches proved to be home walkovers.

BRISBANE BRONCOS stay top after outclassing WESTS TIGERS 40-12.

Chelsea Lenarduzzi starred with two tries, Kerri Johnson also touched down twice, and further scores came from Caitlin Urwin, Jesse Southwell (who kicked six conversions), and Georgia Bartlett.

Sarah Togatuki and Raecene McGregor got the Wests tries, the latter converting both.

NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS are up to third thanks to a 38-0 whitewash of ST GEORGE ILLAWARRA DRAGONS.

Georgia Roche got the ball rolling with the opening try, and was followed by Yasmin Meakes, Amelia Pasikala, Shanice Parker, Tiana Davison, Sidney Taylor and Mercedez Taulelei-Siala. Kirra Dibb converted five.

GOLD COAST TITANS’ 50-12 triumph over PARRAMATTA EELS was their biggest-ever NRLW win, and lifts them into fourth place.

Halfback Lauren Brown ran the show and converted five of the ten tries scored, by Lily Patston (two), Indie Bostock (two), Evania Isa’ako, Georgia Grey, Lily Kolc, Phoenix-Raine Hippi, Takoda Thompson and Laikha Clarke.

Elsie Albert got both Parramatta’s consolation tries, with Rachael Pearson converting them.

Lavinia Tauhalaliku scored four tries in NEW ZEALAND WARRIORS’ 42-4 rout of NORTH QUEENSLAND COWBOYS.

Stacey Waaka claimed a double, Ivana Lauitiiti, Jasmin Huriwai and Ocean Tierney also touched down and Patricia Maliepo kicked three conversions.

England’s Fran Goldthorp registered the Cowboys’ sole try when the game was long gone.
